You are not required to take every load that we offer to you. We work hard to find loads that meets your preference, but you're able to decline any loads you don't want to take. We ask that you define your load preferences to us and communicate how to better serve you.

No. You are not required to use all of your available equipment but we would recommend you to let your dispatcher know about every piece of operable equipment you have available. Sometimes certain deals come up which aren't posted on load boards and require a specific piece of equipment you may have, and the shipping party contacts us directly. These types of loads for the most part pay very well and it only helps us to know about all available equipment you have.

Can I work with you if I'm a new carrier?

Of course you can! We're always looking for serious and hardworking owner operators/carriers who are hard workers. But you must understand that the freight market is dynamic and rates fluctuate. Please understand as a new carrier it will be much more difficult for us to find you the truly great loads since all too many brokers and shippers will not work with carriers whose Motor Carrier Authority is less than six months or one year. Once you've passed the one year mark, almost every broker will be more willing to work with you.

Where do you find your freight?

We work with brokers, load boards and direct shippers.

What's the process of booking a load?

Our dispatchers will stay in contact with you and/or your drivers to obtain their current location and ETA to deliveries. Once we know where you are and where you're going, we'll begin working on getting you your next load. Once a qualified load is found, our dispatchers will begin to gather information and negotiate rates. We'll always contact you for approval on every load so there's nothing to worry about. If you agree to the load offer, we will begin the set-up process, completing packets, requesting insurance certificates if necessary, and submitting the necessary documents to the broker to get you rolling. Once completed we will sign the rate confirmation, dispatch you or your driver, and send you the original rate confirmation for your records.

Which load boards do you use?

We use several different load boards including Truckstop and DAT load board. We also sometimes receive direct emails of shipments which may never hit any load board as well as loads which are directly brokered via phone calls.

So what is a factoring company?

A factoring company is a company that will wait for brokers to pay on your invoices for a small fee. They purchase your invoices. In return they'll pay you right away and keep your cash flow going while they wait to be paid by the broker.

If you don't currently have a factoring company, we have several factoring companies that we can recommend to you.

What about Detention Pay?

We will always fight to get you the detention pay you deserve. Unfortunately getting detention pay isn't always possible and can often delay the process of getting paid as often brokers take advantage of the delays created in requesting and approving detention pay.
